  1. I find that running more than 30 miles a week is just too much stress on the body and I just don’t enjoy running miles and miles every day. I want to maintain that fresh feeling in my legs. I’ve implemented more sprint and plyometrics, making workouts more fun. Likewise no more than 1-2 intense workouts per week is optimal. I think the no pain no gain culture of the 70s really got to people’s heads.
